Jack Bell Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of paintings by contemporary artist Franco Ndiba. This will be the artists third solo show with the gallery.
This new series continues to move between impressionist and cubist techniques, but also introduces a new watercolor element. It is an imaginary world, with whimsical touches in the background and in the forms, a space where I can develop my own artistic fantasies. I try to put the man with a capital M at centre stage, while inviting others to questions the inside and outside of each person. With all the changes that our surroundings are undergoing today, both economically and geo-politically, I want us to reconsider our lives. As my main concern is the preservation of the natural environment, the interior and exterior of my characters is made up of a green universe which suffers more and more on a daily basis.

Ndiba was born in 1983 in Douala, Cameroon.
