One of the museum’s principal missions is to enrich the collections. New acquisitions strengthen the museum’s collections from different cultural zones as well as the photography collections. Old or contemporary objects of exceptional heritage value are chosen for their artistic, historical or cultural interest. The museum receives regular generous support in this area from its donors and the Friends Society.
