Untitled triptych (Code Noir), 2014
We're pleased to announce that the National Gallery of Canada have made a new acquisition of work by Leonce Raphael Agbodjelou from the Code Noir series. Agbodjelou's photography captures the people of Benin’s capital Potro Novo, his birthplace as they are caught between tradition and progress.
Other acquisitions have been made by the Brooklyn Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art, Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow and Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford.
